Who Are We and
Why You will Want to Work with Us

Excelsior Global Enterprises, Inc. was founded by Paul B. Burke and Reuben E. J. Canales as a private venture to develop ideas and bring new products to market. Our clients range from independent inventors to corporate entities. However, a core portion of our business is dedicated to servicing independents with each step of the development process.

Since incorporating, EGE, Inc. has taken a leading role in design services for manufacturing companies while still providing exceptional development services to private inventors and independent customers. EGE, Inc. has established its main office in Longmont, Colorado along with an office in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, allowing us to maintain strong contacts with the consumer product industry across America and around the world.

Paul B. Burke
Though a mixture of non-traditional and traditional forms of education, Paul has gained experience in sound production, video communications, and piloting, along with formal electrical engineering study at the University of Colorado.

Prior to founding Excelsior Global Enterprises, Paul worked for several years as contractor for the Department of Defense on a variety of electrical components for flight simulators. His last year with the company was spent in Iwakuni Japan as temporary Project Director Liaison to DOD. After the probationary year, a permanent position was offered, however Paul turned down the position in order to return to the US with his wife leading to further collaboration with Reuben Canales and the creation of EGE.

Reuben E. J. Canales
A graduate with honors from the Milwaukee Institute of Art & Design (MIAD) in industrial design, 2000. Prior to founding Excelsior Global Enterprises, Inc., Reuben was a designer for Echostar Technologies Corporation - the parent company to Dish Network.

Much of his time there was spent developing user interfaces for interactive television and satellite set-top boxes. Reuben was also a key member to the development team for the Dishplayer DVR-522, Echostar's first digital video recorder to support two simultaneous satellite feeds that could be used as a one TV or as a two TV solution with separate control over what is viewed and recorded- an industry first.

Reuben has also been a designer for Salton, Inc., the makers of George Foreman®, Toastmaster® and Farberware® cooking appliances. During his tenure at Salton Reuben was responsible for designing Salton's introduction of Hoffritz® luxury appliances.
